Donations

Stella 4th April 2018

I haven't made a donation in memory of Kenneth (I know he preferred Ken but he's always been Kenneth to me!) as Stewart, my other brother, and I did our own thing 'in memory'. However, in talking to Kenneth's daughters it's made me realise how much Maggie's did not only for Kenneth and Margaret, his wife, but also for his daughters. Not only with practical things but emotionally, which in some respects can be more important. Knowing that Maggie's was available for Margaret to visit whilst he was in hospital gave Kenneth relief knowing that Margaret had somewhere to go when he was in surgery, or sleeping etc. For all this, I thank the staff at Maggie's from the bottom of my heart. We're all aware that the majority of charities do a brilliant job but when it touches our loved ones, it's wonderful to know you're there. This small donation is just to say thank you. And Kenneth, you will always be in our memories.

£10.00 (+ £2.50 Gift Aid)
